Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina, singer/songwriter Jeanne Jolly broke onto the music scene as the featured vocalist for Grammy Award winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti. Touring all through North America she had the opportunity to sing with world renowned symphonies and perform at venues like Carnegie Hall and play marquee events such as the Monterey Jazz Festival. A diverse, classically trained vocalist, Jolly’s voice is said to embody the “early belting power of Linda Ronstadt” combined “the delicate lilt of Alison Krauss”. After earning a music degree from Western Carolina University & a Masters in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory in Boston, Jolly moved to L.A. where her career took off. In addition to working with Botti, she continued to gain experience in the studio recording various styles for t.v & film spots as well as for acclaimed songwriters such as Lowen & Navarro and country artist Bob Woodruff.

Jolly soon found herself being pulled back to her Southern roots. In 2009, Jeanne moved back to North Carolina to be closer to her mother who was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. After her mother's passing, she quickly found herself inspired to write from her experience. She began nurturing this new found desire to focus on singing her own songs. It wasn't long until she once again found herself in the company of Grammy nominated artists, opening for Maura O'Connell, Sam Bush, & Chuck Mead.

In October 2010 Jolly released her new EP, Falling In Carolina which has garnered top praise for honest lyrics and quality vocals. She received recognition upon it's release when she received the NC Metro Magazine’s award for “Best Local Musician” in 2010, 2011, and was a featured artist at the 2011 International Folk Alliance in Memphis , TN. In February of 2011, Jolly teamed up with Grammy Nominated NC based group, The Foreign Exchange, and was featured on their live DVD, Dear Friends: An Evening with The Foreign Exchange . She has been contributing vocals to support their Authenticity Tour ever since.

As of August of 2012, Jeanne has now made a name for herself as a nationally known singer songwriter after a successful run through the northwest, playing the Red Ants Pants Music Festival along with: Emmy Lou Harris, Rodney Crowell, and Billy Joe Shaver, Sweet Pea Festival in Bozeman, MT, and other venues through the region. On the airwaves, Jeanne has recently been featured live on WUNC’s “State of Things ” (NPR) with Frank Stasio, 100.7 The River’s "Sunday Brunch" with Kitty Kinnin, G105 The Hit Music Channel’s “Showgram”, KGLT’s “Crossroads” out of Spokane , WA & WHQR’s “Soup to Nuts Live!” (NPR) out of Wilmington, NC.

Jeanne is gearing up for the release of her first full length album, Angels, produced by Chris Boerner, to be released on +FE Music. Angels is set to drop on October 2, 2012.
